FIRE BAN has been REINSTATED!!!!!!
Effective May 26 2025
Residents are still advised to contact the "Control Burn" number - 1-866-404-4911, when planning a control burn - ALWAYS!
Effective May 26th 2025 Council declared
A FULL FIRE BAN
has been implemented for the Rural Municipality of Porcupine No. 395, Sections 8(1)(a) of The Municipalities Act, that Council may pass bylaws for the safety, health and welfare of people and the protection of people and property. When a Fire Ban is in effect, any person who contravenes the Fire Ban may be subjected to the fines established within this bylaw.
This Fire Ban includes and applies to ALL lands located within the Rural Municipality of Porcupine No. 395.
This FULL FIRE BAN takes effect May 26th 2025 and will continue to be in effect until further notice from the Municipality.
